Core Banking Delivery Lead

This role has the end to end execution accountability for ING Australia’s largest transformation program.

This senior leadership role offers an opportunity for a highly experienced Program Delivery Lead with proven track record of delivering large complex programs a role with both strategic and tactical deliverables. The role will work closely with the CIO, Head of Delivery and interact regularly with other senior stakeholders across the bank including board members and regulators. The project will have visibility locally and globally.

**What are you going to do? You will be**
- Involved in the initial scoping and planning of the project
- Workforce planning and recruitment of key project resources and vendors
- Leading and coordinating across a wide range of cross functional Business and Technology stakeholders, across the organisation
- Interacting with vendor executives and stakeholders re strategic planning, negotiation of terms and performance
- Setting objectives, success criteria and quality standards
- Leading coordinated delivery of outcomes by managing interdependencies, constraints and resourcing
- Managing scope, schedule, budget and risks/issues
- Communicating project status to key stakeholders, including Exco, board, ING global and regulators
- Contributing to INGs project capability development
- Adhering to required project methodologies, operational risk and regulatory requirements

**What are we looking for? Someone who has**
- Successfully directed large, complex, multi-stream programs of work (200+FTE)
- Relevant project management qualifications
- Comfortably managed programs in an agile, cross functional operating environment
- Recent experience in financial services as a Delivery Lead
- Experience in project risk and compliance, including several years recent experience within a regulated landscape/environment
- Gravitas and strong stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated coaching ability to mentor and lead project leaders/teams
