**About the Role**
Join Bank of Queensland as a Core Banking Analyst as we embark on an exciting digital technology transformation. BOQ is currently enjoying a rapid of period growth due to large scale funding to make BOQ the digital bank of the future with a personal touch. We are currently running a large scale tech transformation which includes technology uplifts across the business in core banking, payments and our digital platforms which involve major cloud projects.

The purpose of this position is to support the bank’s Core Banking system to ensure the business needs are achieved. The aim of this role is to maximise the system potential, minimise system downtime and improve the overall user experience. The position will engage with the business for enhancements to core systems. This is achieved by, understanding the business and their end-to-end processes, analysing the business problem and identifying appropriate solutions.

The role will include:

- Defining/Articulating functional/technical requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders.
- Conducts analysis and documents business unit needs, objectives and requirements.
- Performing gap analysis between current and desired processes and systems, root cause analysis.
- Assess the technical feasibility of business ideas.
- Design, Develop, Test.
- Provide first line support to users on T-24 systems.
- Support Incident Management and triage procedures and investigation.
- Undertake and complete detailed analysis around problems identified.
- Complete required systems changes and all associated change documentation.
- Ensure core system business parameter changes comply with defined change management processes.

**About you**
- Previous experience working within the Temenos platform (Transact AA & Payment Modules most preferred).
- Working knowledge of Loan, deposit/Transactional & Payment product/functions offering pertinent to the Australian Banking industry.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across business lines at all levels.
- Strong technical, problem solving and analytical reasoning skills to understand end user’s requirements and transform into operational solutions.
