We are seeking a dedicated Talent and Culture Manager for a full-time (on-site) fixed-term contract of six months to cover an employee on parental leave. This opportunity is perfect for a human resources professional who is experienced in all generalist HR functions and passionate about people to step up into a management role or make the move into a luxury hotel.

Reporting to the Director of Talent and Culture, the key responsibilities of this role are to:

- Oversee and manage all generalist HR functions to support the wider team in delivering quality and maintaining our luxury standards
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the HR department
- Supervise and mentor the Talent and Culture Coordinator, and manage department interns
- Foster professional development, personal connection and a luxury focus within the hotel
- Implement HR policies and procedures that align with hotel goals and industry regulations
- Support recruitment efforts, employee relations, performance management, and training programs
- Report on HR metrics and develop actions to enhance employee engagement and retention.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; HR certification is a plus
- Minimum of five years of HR experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of HR best practice, employment laws, and regulations in Australia
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- A passion for people and a luxury attitude, with a focus on guest service
- Keen attention to detail with a focus quality and accuracy
- Ability to handle information with confidentiality and integrity.
