**The Role**
As the Obligations & Risk Specialist it will be your responsibility for raising visibility and awareness of the effectiveness of obligation management within the COPS hub. You will be developing detailed process maps as well as end-to-end views and preparing key reporting and insights for the COPS LT. You’ll also get the be involved data analysis including the identification of trends, gaps and opportunities to prevent risk, through coaching, process changes and implementing proactive controls.
This is a newly formed role in the Quality, Incidents & Obligations Squad so there is the opportunity to really grow and shape the role as time goes by.
**Some of your duties include**:
- Process mapping end to end obligations & controls including noting key and non-key controls in place and effectiveness of each control
- Overlay trends and analysis including incidents raised over the last 12 months aligned with process steps and key and non-key controls
- Identify areas for improvement through root-cause analysis of incidents
- Influence and drive process improvements which improve the effectiveness of controls to ensure prevention, detection and mitigation of compliance obligations and operational risks.
- Develop reporting, leveraging insights and trends to share with COPS Leadership group and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to manage the analysis and remediation of all incidents raised and identified via the QA Team
- Partner with QA and Complaints leaders to improve the identification, reporting and prevention of incidents by enhancing the Frontline feedback loop, to improve the effectiveness of Frontline coaching and training and to reduce the number of incidents
**About you**
- Prior experience developing process maps across different levels of detail using process mapping software e.g. Visio, Draw.io, Confluence
- Ideally 2-3 years experience in a risk/compliance related role
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Strong communication skills both written & verbal
- A keen interest in analytics with skills across Data sets on Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
