**The Role**

Reporting directly to the EGM Development/M&A, the **Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst** role forms an integral part of the team, which is responsible for development and implementation of REMONDIS’s mergers and acquisitions strategy.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Developing projections, reports and presentations regarding considered mergers and acquisitions
- Performing financial forecasting and modelling
- Discussing M&A opportunities with Senior Management
- Preparing detailed evaluations of Merger and Acquisition targets, and preparation of proposals to the board
- Organising and conducting due diligence in cooperation with Senior Management and Consultants
- Coordinating key internal and external stake holders
- Assist in REMONDIS Australia's market monitoring and market analysis
- Conducting post merger / acquisition / project analysis
- Assisting with post-merger integration

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar
- Strong financial background
- Around years previous experience in a M&A, Due Diligence or Financial Analysis role
- Well-developed computer skills with great proficiency in Excel
- Strong administrative, time management and organisational skills
- High level of energy and intrinsic motivation
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of resilience, curiosity and resourcefulness
