**The Role**

Reporting directly to the EGM Development/M&A, the **Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst** role forms an integral part of the team, which is responsible for development and implementation of REMONDIS’s mergers and acquisitions strategy.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Developing projections, reports and presentations regarding considered mergers and acquisitions
- Performing financial forecasting and modelling
- Discussing M&A opportunities with Senior Management
- Preparing detailed evaluations of Merger and Acquisition targets, and preparation of proposals to the board
- Organising and conducting due diligence in cooperation with Senior Management and Consultants
- Coordinating key internal and external stake holders
- Assist in REMONDIS Australia's market monitoring and market analysis
- Conducting post merger / acquisition / project analysis
- Assisting with post-merger integration

**About you**:

- You hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting
- You’ve got a couple of years solid experience in an accounting, due diligence (consulting) or financial analysis role and able to articulate basic accoounting functions such as debits, credits, etc
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of key stakeholders at various levels
- You’ve got well developed organisational, planning, time management and administrative skills
- You’ve got well-developed computer skills with great proficiency in Excel
- You’re enthusiastic and highly motivated
