Due to multiple internal promotions we are looking to expand the team As a Trade Account Manager, you will improve the profitability of your territory in Melbourne by developing and fostering new and existing partnerships within our Commercial team. You will drive the growth of key customers and new business opportunities to achieve profit and growth for PPG

Key Responsibilities
- Developing and improving the customer service propositions in line with our brand strategies
- Leading, maintaining and growing a portfolio of key trade accounts
- Collaborating with trade applicators, builders and architects
- Achieving sales, growth and profit targets
- Delivering high level customer relationship management that promotes service excellence and customer retention.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous Account Management experience preferably within the building materials / construction market.
- Working alone and prioritising your own day is how you work best, but you will also be happy to engage and work with your team to achieve the best outcomes for our customers and PPG
- Excellent communications skills - you will easily establish trust and make our customers feel at ease with your easy going approach.
- You will be open, honest and authentic in your dealings
- A consistent record in building new relationships, or accounts and growing existing business
- Current Driver’s license

About us:
This position is an important part of PPG’s Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) Architectural Team. The ANZ Architectural team is responsible for iconic products and brands like Taubmans, White Knight, Johnstone’s and Bristol. We manufacture and supply high quality paint products locally to DIY and professional painters, whilst being backed and supported by the global expertise within PPG.
