
Account Manager

Based in North/West of Melbourne as an Account Manager in our Residential team, you will report to The State Business Manager. Your primary objective will be to enhance the profitability of your assigned territory by cultivating and nurturing both new and existing partnerships. By driving the expansion of key customers and identifying new business opportunities, you will contribute to the overall growth and profitability of PPG across its surrounding areas.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Enhancing and refining the customer service offerings to align with our brand strategies
- Leading, managing, and expanding a selection of crucial trade accounts
- Working together with trade applicators, retailers, and home builders
- Meeting sales, growth, and profit objectives
- Providing top-notch customer relationship management to enhance service quality and customer loyalty.
**Skills and Experience**
- Prior experience in managing accounts, specifically in the building materials market, is preferred.
- You thrive when working independently and managing your own schedule, but you are also willing to collaborate with your team to ensure the best results for our customers and PPG.
- Your exceptional communication skills allow you to effortlessly build trust and create a comfortable environment with your friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Your interactions are characterized by openness, honesty, and authenticity.
- You have a successful track record in establishing new relationships or accounts and expanding existing business.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
