**About the role**

Your role will be to oversee the operational success of the portfolio covering hard and soft services, maintenance, and procurement of contractors. The role will be busy and varied, there are few silos or restrictions, instead, you will be empowered to own your role and trusted to make optimum decisions to best serve the tenants and property needs.

**About you**

It is expected that you will have existing experience as a Facilities Manager in commercial property, working for either an owner, an agency or a property fund. Technical expertise is a must, whether this is an electrician, plumber, or HVAC specialist as it’s imperative you can use this experience if required to remedy issues if possible. Great customer service and communication skills are essential.

**Key duties**
- Facilitate and assist with the effective operational delivery of facility services and service delivery outcomes for the dedicated portfolio.
- Plan and develop operational strategies, changes, policies, and procedures to increase organisational effectiveness and business improvements across the portfolio
- Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues, opportunities, achievements, and manage the delivery of portfolio KPI's
- Assist with the management of the financial operations of the account, including financial reporting, and costing savings.
- Manage and drive portfolio capital improvements.
- Managing the divisional compliance of all statutory and regulatory requirements of the Facilities Management service offering.
- Focus on innovation and continuous improvement at a property and portfolio level, with a focus on technical services excellence, innovation, and operational and cost-efficiency.
- Working closely and collaborating with the wider Property Management and development team.

**Key strengths**
- Extensive experience in a facilities management related discipline
- Qualifications in Engineering, or Facilities Management degree.
- Superior knowledge in Operational and Facilities Management with proven skills in financial management across a diverse range of disciplines
- Confidence and maturity in communication with the ability to build effective relationships
- Ability to lead and influence, initiating change, resolving performance issues and conflicts with a solution-focused, client-centric approach
- Superior organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver results effectively
- Excellent financial acumen, know when to question costs and budgets.
