**The Company**
Seaking Pty Ltd is a privately-owned Marine Consultancy and Services company based in Newcastle, Australia.
We are looking for a Casual employee to join our team at Newcastle with an option of permanent position in future depending on performance.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Director, role is to provide administrative support and assisting with purchasing and logistics operations.
**Tasks include but are not limited to**:
- Document filing and maintain records as per company Quality and Safety Management System.
- Handling travel and logistics arrangements as required.
- Sourcing and buying ship stores.
- Handling invoices and follow-ups with vendors as required.
- Maintaining Subscriptions, insurances, Inductions are kept current and valid
- Manage social media updates and keep website updates as required.
**Requirements for the role**:
- Hard Working, Result oriented with Strong organization skills
- Able to multi task.
- Flexible can-do attitude, and be prepared to adapt new tasks and new projects
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Can prioritize workload to ensure urgent tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Experience in a logistics is highly preferred
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- To be able to work independently
- Have a car to reach the Office in Tomago, NSW 2322.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Schedule:
- On call

- Tomago, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Administration or Logistics or Similar: 1 year (required)

- Australia (required)
