**Description**:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development and implementation of the Food Safety system.
Manages QC Officers and coordinates QC activities.
Manage Hygiene and Sanitation program.
Update quality procedure, work instruction, and form as required.
Carry out sampling, testing, and product assessment as required.
Issue and manage QA paperwork for designated locations.
Conducts daily line checks, and weekly and monthly GMP audits.
Conduct training for staff and external contractors as per schedule.
Investigate non-conformance and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
Conduct an internal audit of the quality system and ensure audit preparedness.
Drive Food Safety Culture through engagement and initiatives with a wider team.
Support NPD team in NPD trials and the first production of a new product.
Support QA/business projects and initiatives and other duties as required.
**Skills and Experiences**:
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or a related discipline with at least 3 year's experience as a Quality Assurance Coordinator or in a similar role.
Proven experience implementing and monitoring Quality Management Systems and knowledge of third-party certification standards such as HACCP, BRC, and ISO.
Completion of current HACCP qualifications and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of food production systems including food safety and microbiology.
Capacity to comply with and support applicable legislative requirements and Company policy and procedures
