**What You’ll Be Doing**

As our **Quality Assurance Officer**, you’ll be the go-to person for all things food safety and quality across the business. You’ll be part of our dynamic 'Safety' team, where you’ll keep things ticking along smoothly while managing multiple tasks. From working with vendors to ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, your role is crucial in keeping things top-notch. You’ll also help drive continuous improvement initiatives and support change management efforts across the business.

**Your Responsibilities Will Include**:

- Keeping our **vendor database up-to-date** - because no detail is too small when it comes to compliance
- ** Label Compliance** - Making sure our products’ labels meet all the regulatory and Harris Farm policies.
- ** Food Safety and Quality Audits** - You’ll conduct audits, manage swab programs, and support training in good hygiene practices.
- Helping develop and manage key **documentation & training resources** - We love a good document
- ** Change Management** - Making sure any changes to projects are managed efficiently and on time.
- Always seeking out **continuous improvement** - We’re all about getting better, and we want you to help us

**What You’ll Bring**:

- A strong background in **food technology, microbiology, or chemistry**.
- In-depth knowledge of **Food Standards Code** and regulatory requirements.
- The ability to juggle competing priorities (because we know things can get busy).
- Great **stakeholder management and influencing skills**.
- A keen eye for detail and **excellent organisational skills**.
- Strong communication skills - you’ll be producing reports and interacting with many different teams.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Bachelor of Science** (ideally in Chemistry or Microbiology) or equivalent, with a focus on food safety and quality.
- A current **Driver’s License** (because sometimes you’ll need to drive to visit sites).
