Hours of work: Day shift, typically 7am - 3pm, full time.

**About the Role**:
Our client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead all the Warehouse Operational functions for their largest client in Sydney, in line with the company's core values and deliver outstanding quality to their client partner.

Ultimately responsible for Inventory accuracy, PIFOT and operational profitability, the Warehouse Manager effectively manages all inbound, rework and dispatch activities ensuring customer orders are scheduled and appropriately managed and all goods handed over to carriers are accurately manifested.

The Warehouse Manager will be part of the Sydney Leadership team and is responsible for all business and client KPIs including (but not restricted to) Inventory, Inbound freight timeliness, PIFOT, labour costs and client responses. The role supports a team of up to 15 operations heads daily with a Supervisor and 2 Team Leads reporting in. This role is supported by the Senior Warehouse Manager.

- Strategic thinking & Planning skills
- Great communications & people leadership skills
- Knowledge and experience of LEAN management principles
- Understanding of DG handling (licence or willingness to attain licence preferred)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- High level of personal accountability and leadership of KPI's
- Excellent time management skills
- High level of customer service skills
- Health & Safety - Good track record.

**Highly Desirable Experience**:

- 5+ years in warehouse management 10+ years warehouse experience
- Skill set covers receiving, dispatch, reworks and inventory management
- Experience in client interaction on a frequent basis
- 3PL experience preferred
- Management of large casual work force Complex mix picking with same day dispatch orders with daily order cut off
