Job Summary:

As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products. You will manage a small team to ensure goods are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the company's high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, order picking, packing, and dispatching.
  • Ensure timely dispatch of goods to meet customer expectations.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage warehouse receivables processes and coordinate with the procurement team.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the warehouse.
  • Use material handling equipment safely and ensure staff adherence to safety procedures.
  • Develop and manage warehouse KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding warehouse operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Certificate or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 + years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • A current Forklift License is essential.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehousing principles, including safety and safe work practices.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop detailed knowledge of product range and warehouse management systems.
  • Proactive and 'can do' attitude, with a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have unlimited permanent work rights.
