**What we are looking for**:
The Greenwood team are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to assist their team with elevating their day-to-day operations. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and thrives in environments where every day is different.

**To be successful**:

- Minimum of 1 years of experience in Bar management or supervisor role. (must be bar/ pub or restaurant)
- Available Wednesday
- Saturday
- Must have strong initiative and be adaptable to ever changing envrionments
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- You must be confident in your skills, knowledge and people management abilities
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong venue compliance knowledge (general - we'll take you through out specific license conditions)

**Responsibilities**:
**Overseeing General Daily Business Operations**:

- Opening/closing the venue
- Collaborate with kitchen and front of house staff to ensure an efficient flow of orders and timely food and beverage service
- Working closely with events manager on upcoming functions, ensuring staff are briefed on the sequence of service, back of house systems and space are set and ready in a timely manner
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the venue ensuring it meets established presentation expectations
- Staff management - ensuring all staff are performing to the highest efficiency, have required breaks and are briefed in day to day operations.
- Team Culture - leading by example by being consistent with your performance, maintaining a positive attitude and regularly building a positive workplace culture

**Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations
- Ensure adherence to venue-specific licensing conditions
- Food safety and handling regulations
- Confidently run high volume high compliance evenings
- Daily review of incident register
- Ensuring CCTV cameras are all in operation and reporting any faults to the General Manager
- Overseeing/managing security team

**Wastage and Stock Control**:

- Monitoring and inputting all recorded wastage in Jenson
- Ensuring all bartenders are pouring correctly and any mistakes are recorded
- Assisting with communicating supply requirements
- Aiding venue manager in meeting stocktake shrinkage targets/investigating variances

**Financial Management**:

- Monitor and control wages whilst on shift
- Opening/closing - cash reconciliation and Daily Taking Reporting

**Reservations/ Functions**:

- Working closely with the function team: Setting up spaces, managing bar tabs + staff briefing stock
- Coordinating kitchen and front of house team for functions, delegating members to certain roles
- Ensuring reservations are allocated on the floor for Lunch and Evening service

**Customer Satisfaction**:

- Monitor and manage guest reservations and seating arrangements to optimise space usage and ensure guest satisfaction
- Handle all customer complaints professionally and promptly
- Communicating feedback to the team
- Identify any trends in customer reviews and provide training or feedback where required

**WHS**:

- Reporting risks/ maintenance issues to GM
- Completing appropriate forms in the event of a staff or patron incident

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $34.79 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 30 per week
