Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Executive Officer on a contract for 6 months.
**Position Overview**
Under limited direction undertake duties in accordance with the agreed standards for Parliamentary Executive Level 1. The duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Research and prepare strategic advice, information and reports to the FPS Division's Senior Executives on a range of complex and sensitive matters to facilitate informed decision making.
- Prepare, manage and review high-level communications, correspondence, briefs, submissions and notes to ensure the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of information.
- Act as a point of contact and manage the Office of the FAS FPS' workflow and monitor progress of key deliverables, ensuring completion within deadlines and achievement of required outcomes.
- Lead and manage the coordination of FPS Division's Senate Estimates briefing, Questions on Notice (QoN), corporate reporting and business planning processes.
- Provide administrative support and deliver officer efficiencies for tracking tasks and information requests, including the provision of secretariat support to the Senior Executives as required.
- Proactively build and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, especially the Offices of the Deputy Secretary and Secretary as well as the other SES offices.
- Lead and mentor the Executive Support team to deliver high quality outcomes.
- Undertake other duties as directed.
