**About the Company**
This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 6-month contract paying up to $1141.52/Day + Super. This role is located in Parramatta.

**About the Role**
We are currently seeking to appoint a Corporate Property and Facilities Manager with a leading NSW Government agency. This role is responsible for Commercial management of leases, licences, acquisitions/disposal and other commercial property transactions for the Department’s land and holdings ensuring legal, compliance and operational requirements are met and strategic objectives are achieved.
**Key accountabilities include**:
- Lead and manage the corporate property and facilities management team to achieve a high level of commercial performance and to deliver high quality services that drives improvement in safety, future ways of working and efficiency.
- Budget management of the corporate property and facilities management CAPEX and OPEX budget and ongoing forecast in compliance with Financial Delegations, reporting and governance frameworks.
- Working closing with the legal team, provide expert commercial and legal advice and services on all aspects of land and property transactions, such as lease, easement and license contracts and property/land acquisitions and disposal contracts.
- Provide strategic insights on business needs and resolve operational corporate property issues effectively to meet legal and safety requirements.
- Property systems, policies and processes are in place to satisfy enterprise risk, regulatory and legislative compliance requirements.
- Management of Corporate Property projects including the development of business cases, budget approval, costing, project delivery (including project, contract and change management) and benefits realisation.
- Corporate offices are properly maintained, clean and safe having well managed, cost effective preferred supplier contracts and/or panel arrangements in place.
**About You**
- Proven experience in coaching and leading continual improvement in team performance and cultural change
- Experience in designing, interpreting, obtaining key insights, documenting and sharing the narrative from a range of data collated from a wide range of sources.
- Commercial and financial management experience with respect to a diverse property and land portfolio.
- Experience in developing and implementing frameworks that enable the commercial management of a large property and land portfolio.
- Experience in establishing a service level agreement and provision of commercial services for property transaction dealings within a large organisation.
