Venture Projects is looking for a construction project coordinator to join our growing team We have been awarded many exciting projects and are looking for someone to join our team to transform these ideas into spectacular environments.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the project manager to manage and direct construction projects from beginning to end
- Predict resources needed to complete the project, manage schedule and activities to meet program
- Assist to manage costs in order to meet budget
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
- Coordinate efforts across the entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
- Optimize the use of labour and resources
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Always ensure quality construction standards
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
- Work with our estimator, director, and project manager to understand the project from handover to completion

**About You**
- Have a post-secondary qualification in construction, project management, architecture, or engineering
- Know how to use popular construction project management software (Aconex, SimPro, Office Suite, AutoCAD, ProCore
- potentially Blue Beam and other design software as well)
- Are keen to work as part of a team
- Builds strong relationships with clients, builders and subcontractors
- Good time-management skills
- Have solid experience in delivering construction projects
- **Preferred**: experience in facades, glazing works, metal works

**Salary**: From $96,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pyrmont, NSW 2009: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Construction: 5 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
