**Hours**: Minimum 38 hours per week

We require a full-time Specialised Service Engineer who is experienced and knowledgeable in both Electronics and/or Instrumentation Engineering. You will be kept very busy; this is a full time role for minimum 38 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary of $75,000 + super to reward long term commitment. Operating business area of CI Scientific ranges from Medical, laboratory and small to large scale industries. Main focus of the company is to provide sales, service and maintenance of quality control equipments. These equipments are ranges from weighing instruments to highly complex ATP testing and Rheological equipments.

You will also be required to know how to adjust and repair electronic equipment.

**Tasks and Duties**:

- Understanding and researching into client’s specs and requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and customers for design modification to meet specific requirements.
- Formulate complete test methods in the field of electrical and other metrological equipment including all formulas and uncertainty budgets.
- Designing electronic components, circuits and systems used for clients Quality Control Systems across various industries.
- Inspection on range of medical, Laboratory and Industrial equipments by providing DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ.
- Parameter programming and configuration on embedded software in the equipment for smooth operation.
- Complete system check (testing) and writing report adhering relevant Australia standards.
- Performance monitoring, reporting faults and finding solution on range of equipments.

**Hours of work**:
This is a full time role where the incumbent will be expected to work at least 38 hours per week.

**Salary**:
$75,000 to $85000+ super calculated at 10% per year

**Qualifications, education, experience and abilities required**:
Qualifications/Education

Relevant qualification.
- Must have electrical and high voltage testing experience.
- Must have been the lead on iso 17025 audits
- Must be able to perform uncertainty calculations
- Must have field and bench experience
- Must have managed a team of greater than 20

Experience/ Knowledge

Experience of 10 + years of experience is preferred within Electronics or Instrumentation + PLC Programming

Abilities/Attributes
- Experience in working with HACCP quality control equipments as well as Rheological equipments.
- Experience in other laboratory equipments for example; steriliser, temperature enclosures and loggers, centrifuge, microscopes, moisture analyser.
- Experience in industrial equipments for example; NIR, Metal detector, weighing systems.
- Experience leading Audits in Iso 17025
- Must have worked in a calibration laboratory for Instrumentation.
- Must work well unsupervised and as part of a team
- Be reliable and friendly

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
