**About the Role**
An opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced individual to join our Fleet & Workshop Team to deliver competency-based training and assessments that will ensure all workers are trained and deemed competent in the use of council’s plant and equipment in the workplace.

**What you will be doing**:

- Carry out competency-based assessment and refresher training
- Liaise and coordinate competency-based induction and training with external providers where required
- Record all assessment in an electronic management system
- General Fleet and workshop administration duties

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
2. Experience in the National Heavy Vehicle Law and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) practices (desirable);
3. Experience in various vehicles, plant and equipment;
4. Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and work autonomously;
5. Local Government experience is preferred but not essential.

**Position details**:
Permanent full-time role on a nine-day fortnight, W0247 Salary: Up to $85K + Superannuation + Council Leaseback Vehicle/ To and From Council Vehicle.

You can also earn a Performance Bonus (up to 2% annual salary) + Organisational Bonus (up to $2K), Learning & Development Opportunities, Active Social Club, Proactive Wellbeing Initiatives, and Aquatic and Fitness membership discounts.

This role is situated at our Winston Hills workshop.
