**The Role**
The APS 6 - ICT Manager - Allied and Coalition Interoperability (ACI) is responsible for coordination and management of ICT projects and activities; with a focus on services delivered by CIOG through gateways, special purpose ACI networks and network enclaves.

The position has extensive stakeholder engagement, planning and resourcing of priority information sharing initiatives derived from CIOG-led partnerships and relationships. The position will support various forums and partnerships, which includes the 5 Eyes Combined Communications Electronics Board (CCEB) Pegasus program, NATO, Federated Mission Networking (FMN) and other coalition networking frameworks.

**About our Team**
Within the Chief Information Officer Group (CIOG), the Directorate of Multinational Relations and Interoperability (DMRI) is a small team of people organised into bilateral, multilateral and information sharing systems coordination and management teams.

A key feature of the team effort is to strengthen our support for transformational ICT Allied and Coalition Interoperability (ACI) programs, such as the Combined Communications Electronics Board (CCEB) arrangements. ACI actively drives the CIOG contribution to agreed international work programs. We need you to be able to think strategically, with strong communication skills that can establish and maintain productive national and international working relationships. The Team enables individuals to support extensive stakeholder engagement, planning and resourcing of priority information sharing initiatives towards ACI objectives.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders to meet and exceed their expectations.

- Work well with other team members, sharing responsibilities to deliver key outcomes.
- Effectively report on team activities internally and to stakeholders across varying levels.
- Ability to problem solve, including taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a small team dynamic within an international engagement environment that may require occasional international travel and earlier starts to facilitate international video teleconferences.
- Willing to learn how to coordinate complex national and international work programs to deliver results on time.
- Experience with/or willing to learn about ICT projects, ICT service management, Visio, SharePoint and MS Teams/Planner would be an advantage.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 clearance.
