Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is an integrated transport infrastructure and precincts planning project that will deliver a 90km rail line linking every major train service from the Frankston Line to the Werribee Line via Melbourne Airport, as well as investment in the suburbs, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services and each other. Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) is the statutory body established to plan all elements of the project, procure builders, develop structure planning for SRL Precincts and oversee construction and the other changes that will help transform Melbourne and Victoria.

**About the opportunity**:
Are you passionate about infrastructure development and eager to make a lasting impact on one of Victoria's most transformative projects? SRLA is looking for an experienced Configuration Coordinator to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of this ambitious project. Reporting to the Configuration Manager, your key accountabilities will include:

- Assisting with coordinating configuration management activities across all work packages throughout the project lifecycle, notably procurement, delivery and commissioning stages.
- Supporting the work packages in relation to all processes associated with configuration management, including the updating of configuration items when required.
- Communicating configuration baseline releases and alerts and subsequent baseline updates effectively across the project and its relevant stakeholders.
- Effectively communicating the configuration management processes and ensuring relevant stakeholders and associated projects are adequately informed and consulted.
- Assisting with documenting and following up actions arising from configuration item changes.

This is a permanent, full-time role. You will work in a hybrid work model with access to a range of flexible working arrangements.

**About you**:

- Experience in major rail infrastructure or similar projects.
- Knowledge of the various engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of configuration management processes or similar.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while driving high quality outcomes.
- Ability to clearly document and track key work tasks, ensuring work is delivered on schedule and to high standards.
- A recognised bachelor degree or higher in engineering, science or a cognate discipline.
