**About the Company**

Our client, a national material handling and access service provider, is looking for a General Hand/ Facilities Coordinator to join their workshop team in Welshpool.

**About the Role**:
As General Hand/ Facilities Coordinator, you will address all maintenance issues relating to the facility as they occur and ensure the full facility is well maintained at all times. You will also ensure that all plant and equipment required for general day to day operations are functional, compliant, and safe and stock levels maintained.

**What They’re Looking For**:

- Prior experience in a similar workshop or industrial yard role.
- Physical capability to meet job requirements, including lifting.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, License to Perform High Risk Work (EWP), and Forklift license.
- Customer-centric mindset with exceptional communication abilities.
- Proactive work approach and a strong work ethic.
- Intermediate computer proficiency, including machinery logging systems.
- Basic mechanical knowledge or mechanical aptitude.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining overall yard cleanliness.
- Organizing and relocating boom/scissor lifts, telehandlers within the yard.
- Conducting equipment returns, including damage assessment and photo documentation.
- Inspecting safety harnesses in accordance with the register.
- Refuelling machines onsite.
- Ensuring electric machines are fully charged before deployment.
- Assisting truck drivers with loading and unloading activities.
- Providing on-site customer support, including assisting with pickups and deliveries.
- Pressure washing machines to prepare for rental.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
