Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Permits Officer based in Maddington, WA. As a Permits Officer, you will be responsible for managing the permitting process for the transportation of oversized and heavy loads. This includes preparing and submitting permit applications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, coordinating with authorities, and maintaining accurate records. You will also liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure that all transport operations are conducted safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience with permit applications and regulatory compliance in the transport industry
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for permit management
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
• Relevant qualifications in transport, logistics, or a related field are a plus
• Knowledge of heavy haulage and oversized load regulations is an advantage
