Are you passionate about making a tangible impact in your community? Anchor is on a mission to address youth homelessness and foster community engagement, and we need a dynamic and experienced Chair to lead the way.

About Anchor:
Anchor is dedicated to providing essential services to the most vulnerable members of our community. From homeless support to foster care, kinship care, community education, and family reconciliation, we are committed to making a difference where it matters most.

Your Role:
As Chair of Anchor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and ensuring the ongoing success and sustainability of our organisation. Working closely with a skilled and dedicated Board, you will provide oversight and leadership to guide our governance and strategic initiatives. Your mission? To expand our reach, enhance our impact, and drive positive change in the lives of those we serve. A priority will be to oversee the launch of our exciting new initiative which seeks to eliminate one of the primary causes of homelessness in young people.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a seasoned governance professional with a proven track record of leadership in commercial, community-based, or philanthropic organizations. Experience in the housing sector or strong networks in government would be a valuable asset. If you’re passionate about making a difference, driven by a commitment to excellence, and ready to lead with purpose, we want to hear from you.
