Talent International is searching for an experienced **Change Manager** to join our client, large government department. This role is based in **Brisbane cbd **on a 12-month contract + 6 month extension.

**About the role**

The Change Manager role will be an integral role within the project delivery team given the project is viewed as a major organisational change management exercise, affecting the agency's culture in the way all staff
manage, access and use information. User acceptance and buy-in, and senior management support are
essential for a successful DMS implementation.

**Key responsibilities**
- Develop and manage a best practice change management plan to align with OIR's change management framework, which supports the project's objectives and deliverables.
- Initiate and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote the adoption of change within the Business. Engage with the stakeholders to assess organisational change impacts, readiness, risks and issues for various business change initiatives.
- Guide and influence senior management towards accepting change brought about through process and organisational change.
- Lead change initiatives including communication, transition and implementation activities. Develop and manage the implementation of OCM action plans, including plans for stakeholder engagement, communication, OCM, training and support plan, transition plan and lessons learned report to ensure the successful DMS implementation.
- Build change capacity and resilience across business areas to support, sustain and improve organisational culture throughout the transition of change.
- Identify and evaluate impacts on existing work practices and associated risks and manage through appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure mínimal impact on project goals.
- Prepare and deliver a range of communications (workshops, key messaging and materials) to ensure that others are fully briefed on business change initiatives from the project.
- Prepare and maintain complex reports, briefing notes, presentations and correspondence on OCM activities to present to project board.

**Desirable skills and knowledge**
- Change Management Certification - Foundational or Practitioner
- Knowledge of Prosci Methodology or ADKAR model
- Experience in managing change activities on DMS or eDRMS projects
- Working in Government experience
