Events Organiser

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Tuff Nutterz events, ensuring that all aspects of event planning are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and manage each event's project plans, timelines, and budgets, adhering to company guidelines and client requirements.
- Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to secure services and resources needed for the events, including venues, audiovisual equipment, catering, transportation, and other event-related services.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify suitable event venues, considering factors such as capacity, location, accessibility, and cost.
- Coordinate event logistics, including registration, accommodation, transportation, and onsite setup and teardown.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop event promotion strategies and materials, ensuring maximum attendance and engagement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Oversee event operations, including managing event staff, volunteers, and contractors to ensure seamless event execution.
- Monitor and evaluate event success and effectiveness, collecting feedback from attendees and stakeholders, and making recommendations for future improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event management to enhance event experiences and stay ahead of competitors.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in event management, hospitality, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
- At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications list
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, with a strong track record of successful event execution.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Detail-oriented mindset, with a keen eye for quality control and the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues.
- Proficient in using event management software, project management tools, and other relevant technologies.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies to support event promotion and audience engagement.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances in a dynamic event environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and risk management practices.
