**Overview**:Downer is seeking a skilled and experienced Digital Test Lead to join our xDNA team. The Digital Test Lead will be accountable for the management of both functional and non-functional testing across a programme of work to agreed timescales and quality levels. The focus of the role is to ensure outcomes are delivered on time and written to be repeatable, re-usable, and auditable.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the Test Plan/Test Strategy.
- Check/Review the Test Cases document prepared by the testers.
- Review System Test, System Integration, User Acceptance, and Joint E2E test cases prepared by testers.
- Keep track of the new requirements from the project.
- Escalate issues to the business as needed.
- Assign tasks to all Testing Team members and ensure they have sufficient work.
- Provide testing support to stakeholders through all phases of the project lifecycle (PDLC).
- Report to the Test Delivery Manager, Stakeholders, and Project Manager.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in a testing management/lead role.
- Proficiency in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Experience in Agile/Waterfall methodology.
- Competent and knowledgeable in test design techniques, script development and execution, defect logging, and retesting.
- Strong ability to work closely with other IT teams and external partners to ensure a consistent and integrated customer service experience.
- Experience in all types of testing: Functional, System, Integration, Regression, Operational, and Performance.

**Desirable Attributes**:

- Some Test Automation experience.
- ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualification Board) Foundation or equivalent.
