**Position Overview**:
Careon Services is seeking a passionate and driven Engagement Officer to join our team in Perth. In this exciting and rewarding role, you will serve as a key point of connection between Careon Services and the community. Your role will focus on identifying service gaps, gaining referrals, and fostering strong relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will play a vital part in expanding Careon Services' impact through support coordination and community engagement efforts, contributing to the lives of individuals with disabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support Coordination: Assist NDIS participants in connecting with support services that align with their needs, facilitating positive outcomes in their everyday lives.
- Community Outreach: Engage proactively with local communities, including rural areas, to identify gaps in available services and resources for NDIS participants.
- Networking: Build and nurture relationships with community organisations, service providers, businesses, and stakeholders to expand Careon Services’ referral network.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Development Officer, Finance team, and Service Manager to ensure that engagement strategies align with Careon Services' broader goals and values.
- Data Collection: Collect valuable insights and feedback from community engagement activities to inform service development and enhance service delivery.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on engagement efforts, referrals, and the development of partnerships to management and stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in community engagement, networking, outreach, marketing, sales, or similar roles, preferably in the NDIS or disability sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with diverse groups and stakeholders.
- Understanding of the NDIS framework and challenges faced by individuals with disabilities (preferred).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen attention to detail.

**How to Apply**:

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
