The Role

We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll & HR Administrator to join our team.

This role will play a pivotal part in supporting both our Perth office and site-based teams, ensuring smooth payroll operations, efficient HR processes, and managing client invoicing with accuracy and efficiency.

The position will suit someone who is proactive, confident working with a diverse workforce, and adaptable to change in a dynamic environment.

About the role – you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

· Collecting, processing and reconciling fortnightly/monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation;

· Facilitate payroll, HR enquiries and provide timely responses;

· Reconcile and verify timesheets to rosters and leave requests;

· Maintain accurate payroll, employee records, contracts and HR documentation;

· Administer employee benefits, leave tracking and new starter/leaver procedures;

· Lodgement of SGC payments;

· Maintain company Security Licence and staff qualifications register;

· Issue employment contract documentation;

· Support recruitment and onboarding activities as needed;

· Compile and produce payroll reports;

· Prepare and issue client invoices accurately and on time;

· Liaise with the finance team to resolve billing queries; and

· Support general administrative and finance-related tasks as required.

If you are looking for an interesting and diverse role, then you will need the following skills:

· years end to end payroll experience with a small to medium organisation;

· Proven experience in payroll administration and HR support (MYOB software is desirable);

· Understanding of modern awards, payroll legislation and best practices;

· Experience creating and managing invoices;

· Strong problem solving and excel skills;

· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills;

· Strong communication skills and a professional approach;

· Able to manage confidential information with discretion; and

· An understanding of FIFO rosters and roles will be highly regarded.
