Supporting in the coordination of standard People (HR) cyclical activities and the implementation of the People Strategy across the Rolling Stock team. This role is offered on a
**12 Month MAX TERM CONTRACT** basis operating out of MTMs head office, Docklands and Rolling Stock Maintenance depots.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support the implementation of the agreed People plan for Rolling Stock
- Assist and support Head of People Network Assets & Assurance in the coordination and management of Rolling Stock People Workshops including minute taking, preparing presentations and coordinating attendance
- Maintain data integrity and governance of employee data, ensuring it is aligned to agreed conventions and frameworks
- Supporting managers with employee life cycle processes and procedures
- General HR administrative tasks such as coordinating people data, updating organisational charts, minute taking for portfolio
- Create relationships with the People Centres of Excellence including People Services, L&D, Workplace Relations, Talent and Medicals, drawing on their expertise as required

**Qualification & Skills**
- Relevant tertiary qualification in HR or Business or previous experience in HR generalist role preferable (experience within a blue-collar environment will be considered favourably)
- Strong organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise and manage workload, adapt to changing circumstances.
- Professionalism to remain impartial, maintain discretion and confidentiality.
