**The Opportunity**:
Are you passionate about Industrial Relations and ready to take on a pivotal role? As the National IR Manager, you'll collaborate closely with the Group People Director and executive team to spearhead their Industrial Relations Strategy and Management Plan. Your expertise will ensure the business stays ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing landscape, providing crucial advice and fostering relationships to drive opportunity and mitigate risks across the business.

You'll lead a dedicated team, including an IR Advisor. Collaborating closely with HR and other departments, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the organisational strategy and response to industry developments. **About the role**:
Your success in this role is not measured by KPI’s but rather by tangible results and impactful contributions. Your ability to efficiently close out tasks and cultivate robust relationships will be paramount.

In your first 3-6 months, you'll dive into EBA renewals and refine project plans. Your role will be crucial in identifying and addressing emerging challenges, ensuring smooth operations and proactive solutions. Building strong relationships with business managers will be key, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and problem solver.

**Day to day responsibilities will include**:

- Application of commercial understanding of IR to issue resolution
- Investigation and dispute resolution
- Management of enterprise agreement negotiations
- Legislative and industrial instrument interpretation and advice preparation
- Analysis of data and trends in the market
- Coaching and support of direct and indirect team members
- Coordinate our representation in Industrial Tribunals (e.g. Fair Work Commission) with our legal partners.

**About you?**
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in a similar role, with a focus on blue-collar industries
- Bachelor's degree in employment law, industrial relations, or related field
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate complex situations with confidence
- Proven track record in negotiation, dispute resolution, and strategic planning
- Experience interpreting awards, agreements, and case law to inform business decisions
