Resource Hub is a waste management consultancy based in Brisbane but operating nationally, specialising in solving complex waste challenges and guiding clients through the intricacies of the resource recovery sector.

We support waste operators and local government authorities across Australia, enhancing their financial and operational effectiveness while ensuring compliance with waste levy and auditing regulations.

Our team is made up of experienced professionals passionate about delivering best practices in often-overlooked areas of waste management.

About the Role

As a Waste Management Consultant, you'll manage and deliver consulting projects across a diverse portfolio of clients.

From facilitating stakeholder workshops to preparing insightful reports, you'll play a critical role in identifying problems and implementing sustainable, strategic solutions.

You'll represent Resource Hub in the field, contribute to industry knowledge, and build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.

What You'll Bring

· Background in local government, waste consulting, or resource recovery operations.

· Understanding of waste levy frameworks and audit/compliance practices.

· Proven ability to translate legislation into actionable advice.

· Experience delivering training, education, or community engagement programs.

· Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work across all levels.

· Project management capabilities, including budgeting and procurement oversight.

· Qualifications in Environmental Science, Waste Management, or related field.

· Understanding of the waste and resource recovery sector (essential).
