Are you an experienced tech enthusiast with proven firsthand experience in solving problems and making a positive impact on others? Aftershock PC is seeking a seasoned individual with a deep passion for PC hardware and troubleshooting to become key members of our Technical Support team.
**Joining our team means**:
- Mastering complex troubleshooting techniques to efficiently resolve customer issues.
- Utilising your experience in building PCs to understand and address customer concerns effectively.
- Staying updated on the latest skills, components, and industry trends.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance.
- Remotely triaging and troubleshooting technical issues and requests.
- Determining the best solutions based on customer-provided details.
- Engaging higher levels of support personnel when necessary.
- Providing accurate information on IT products and services.
- Recording events and problem resolutions in detailed logs.
- Following up and keeping customers informed of their status and information updates.
**Qualifications**:
- Proficiency in assembling complex PC systems.
- Extensive knowledge of PC components and their functionalities.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving desired outcomes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Eagerness for continuous learning and keeping updated on new skills, components, and industry advancements.
- Bonus points for familiarity with platforms such as ClickUp, Front, Aircall, and Connectwise.
**How to Stand Out**:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a help desk technician or in another customer-facing support role.
- Strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Understanding of computers and their components.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
Pay: $52,246.67 - $67,138.72 per year
