Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join our team on a contract basis, working on-site in Melbourne, VIC. In this role, you will provide top-tier technical assistance to our clients, focusing on educational institutions. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the seamless operation of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities


• Provide on-site technical support to clients, with an emphasis on government schools.


• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.


• Maintain and administer IT networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.


• Deliver helpdesk support and manage server maintenance tasks.


• Plan infrastructure roadmaps and offer budgetary guidance.


• Collaborate with team members to enhance support processes and share knowledge.


• Keep accurate records of client interactions and technical solutions.

Qualifications and Skills


• Proven experience in technical support, IT support, or a related field.


• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering satisfactory solutions.


• High attention to detail and effective problem-solving capabilities.


• Relevant certifications in technical support (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL) are advantageous.
