Communications Coordinator

**The job**
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive self-starter to join the Corporate Affairs team at News Corp Australia. Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, you will support the delivery of effective internal communications that clearly articulate the company strategy, drive employee engagement and promote a shared understanding of strategic priorities, projects and value proposition.
You will also support the wider Corporate Affairs team, as well as HR and delivery teams across all areas of our diverse business with the delivery of projects, events and other coordination as required.
- Assist with the coordination of internal events and campaigns
- Support the development and content curation of the weekly all-staff newsletter
- Proactively seek out and implement innovative communications that bring to life our purpose, strategic priorities and values
- Review and report on communication activities and engagement, provide recommendations and insights to continuously enhance the effectiveness of our internal comms
- Writing, editing and proofreading support as required
**Who are you?**
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills
- You're naturally curious and creative with a knack for simplifying business jargon into straightforward and meaningful communications
- You have the ability to think outside the box and bring an idea to life
- You have good eye for design and attention to detail
- You're a ‘people person’ with the ability to build strong working relationships
- You're resourceful and take initiative with mínimal direction
- You have the ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing requirements
- Ideally some experience with Google Workspace and associated apps
