**Key accountabilities include**:

- Proactively manage HWQld's corporate governance, finance, and human resource service delivery through the effective planning, managing and monitoring of allocated resources, and in accordance with legislative requirements and contemporary practices.
- Maintain knowledge of, and provide high quality professional analysis, advice and support on, relevant legislation and operational issues to the Director, Business and Governance and the broader leadership team, to support informed and effective financial and human resources decisions, governance, strategic priorities and improved service outcomes.
- Manage, coordinate and maintain HWQld's financial and human resources policies, procedures, and reporting systems, ensuring use of appropriate techniques, methodologies, and tools that deliver integrity, compliance with relevant legislation, clear accountability, and responsiveness to organisational needs and service outcomes.
- Oversee the preparation of governance, finance and human resource information for internal and external briefings and reporting including for the HWQld Board, Finance Audit and Risk Management Committee, Annual Report and State Budget processes, CBRC submissions, Service Delivery Statements, and Estimates Committee briefs.
- Manage the Service Level Agreement with HWQld's Shared Service Provider as it relates to the financial, human resources, contracts and information technology operations, ensuring performance metrics are met and reported.
- Proactively liaise and consult with external stakeholders such as Queensland Health, Queensland Treasury, the Queensland Audit Office, the Office of Industrial Relations, and the Public Service Commission to ensure the timely submission of information to such stakeholders as required.
- Maintain a culture of continuous improvement and quality service delivery through identifying and implementing improved business processes that maximise value, drive efficiency, and are aligned with contemporary practices.
- Lead special projects and take on critical work as required.
