About the role
As the General Manager Corporate Services, you will play a critical role in providing strategic leadership and direction to the organisation’s corporate functions. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee a diverse portfolio encompassing finance, human resources, information technology, governance, risk management, and administration. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of corporate services to support the achievement of RAQ’s goals and objectives.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategic plans, policies, and procedures for corporate services in alignment with RAQ’s overall objectives.
- Providing leadership and guidance to the corporate services team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Leading the financial operations of the organisation, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Overseeing human resources functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and professional development.
- Ensuring the effective utilisation and maintenance of information technology systems and infrastructure.
- Implementing robust governance and risk management frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across corporate services, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, funding partners, and other relevant organizations.
- Representing RAQ in external forums and contribute to sector-wide discussions on best practices and emerging trends in corporate services.
We would expect that your extensive senior leadership experience will be underpinned by a tertiary qualification in business, finance, or a related field (post-graduate qualifications highly desirable).
