**The Role**
The Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation (AGO) is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill Project Support Officer (PSO) roles that will support the delivery and sustainment of capability to enable the AGO mission.
You will perform complex project work under limited direction, requiring a good understanding of relevant project methodologies, and Defence’s mission and policy requirements. You will contribute to strategic planning, as well as project and program management.
APS5 staff will also be required to perform a leadership role for newer, less experienced team members.
APS6 staff will be required to perform with more independence and have considerable stakeholder engagement. APS6 staff will also be required to lead a team, build team capability and ensure work produced is of a high quality.

**About our Team**
The GEOINT Capability Delivery (GCD) Branch delivers and sustains capability as part of the Joint Geospatial Program. The GCD team value diversity, inclusion and flexibility; and we strive to be innovative in our approach. We deliver capability that integrates GEOINT from a wide variety of sources to enable access to timely, accurate and actionable GEOINT as a critical enabler for many Defence activities.
The branch has a focus on future GEOINT capability needs to support the Defence GEOINT Community in meeting the challenges that will emerge in Australia’s national security environment, as well as to take advantage of the unprecedented acceleration of technological change. The strategy to solve these hard problems has a focus on multi-disciplinary, collaborative, and creative approaches that cross traditional organisational boundaries. This is being supported by building and developing the workforce across the APS and the ADF, and further developing strong international and industry partnerships.
As a member of GEOINT Capability Delivery Branch, you will be working collaboratively with APS, Military and contractor personnel to deliver and sustain GEOINT capability that not only meets the needs of today but also addresses the challenges that will emerge in Australia’s national security environment.

Demonstrated experience with project management, capability delivery, Transition to Operations, ICT system sustainment, the One Defence Capability System and/or ICT systems will be considered favourably.
