**Your Role**

Joining the growing Direct Employee Communication team within Retail Insurance Australia, you’ll support brands such as NRMA Insurance and ROLLiN as a **Principal, Employee Communications**.

The purpose of this role and your unique contribution is as a strategic business partner to Group Executives and Executive General Managers. You’ll develop and deliver communication strategies that drive divisional performance, improve employee engagement and strengthen connections to IAG’s purpose, strategy, values and behaviours and to NRMA Insurance - A Help Company’s customer value proposition of Help, Always.

To be successful in this role you’ll be creative, with extensive experience in strategic communications, able to collaborate and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to lead large scale projects across IAG and Direct Insurance Australia.

**This is a permanent full-time role, and we welcome applicants from all major cities in Australia.**

**About You**
- Extensive experience in a corporate communications role developing and executing communications plans and materials aligned with Group Strategy
- Proven ability to actively keep abreast of changes in external environment and translate into internal environment
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across whole of function and broader group to reach common approach and build beneficial partnerships
- Demonstrated experience leading in-house communications teams to deliver great employee outcomes that influence culture and engagement
- Demonstrated experience coaching and developing leaders to deliver results, and courage and ability to challenge and influence executives
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Degree Qualifications in Communications, or a related field (essential)
- Experience in large, complex, customer-facing, highly regulated company
- Understanding of broader societal trends
