**About the Role**:
Key responsibilities of the Information Officer, Business Intelligence Solutions include:
- Participating in the development and maintenance of information systems for the provision of accurate, reliable and appropriate data to meet the requirements of decision makers, managers and planners at departmental, State and Australian government levels.
- Liaising with other officers across the department to manage expectations, gain a broader knowledge of user needs/desires and to identify data sharing opportunities.
- Ensuring the accuracy, reliability and security of data required for analytical and reporting purposes.
- Implementing system controls to ensure the quality, security and integrity of data collections.
- Identifying, documenting and testing requirements for enhancements to various information systems.
- Maintain security within Microsoft SQL, SharePoint and Power BI.
- Utilising SQL for adhoc requests and/or system testing.
- Assisting in the formulation and preparation of reports, submissions and briefings regarding complex performance measurement, benchmarking, monitoring and reporting issues.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability and security of data required for analytical and reporting purposes.
