**About the role**
An 8 month maternal leave contract within the QLD State Government. This role will see you working within the Vendor Management and Procurement team reporting to the relevant Director. It will support the business in day-to-day tasks across the entire procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract completion.
- Providing guidance on effective procurement practices to the QTC business users
- Providing guidance on effective contract management practices to the QTC business users
- Assisting the business to maintain their records in the Contract Management System (CMS) to ensure they are accurate and up to date
- Supporting business in establishing and maintaining effective engagement frameworks that drive positive performance outcomes from priority vendors
- Working with the business to broaden and embed the organisational understanding of the procurement policy, procedures and responsibilities within QTC
- Assisting the business to effectively utilise the Financial Management System (FMS) in accordance with the QTC’s financial processes
- Maintain and assist with the development of procurement procedures and templates
**About you**
An experienced professional with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities at any given time. In addition to this you will be a team player who will contribute to the overall goals and targets of the team.
- Demonstrated experience contracting with the Queensland Information Technology Contracting (QITC) framework
- 5-10 years experience in procuring technology solutions
- Demonstrated experience in contract administration and delivery
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining key deliverables
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement
- Background in establishing consulting contracts would be beneficial but not essential
- The ability to work autonomously
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
