**The Role**
You will be responsible for the implementation and on-going management of the Procurement Strategy for the company with the objective to add value to the current process. Managing and carrying out Procurement activities across a wide range of categories and for all internal departments, to deliver targeted savings & the efficient procurement of day to day requirements, while ensuring appropriate Procurement Service Levels to the business.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a company with a commitment to best practice and continuous improvement.

**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Global Procurement Head, your responsibilities are, but not limited to:

- Ensure supplier performance is maintained, with on-time purchase order delivery
- Organise and administer procurement processes
- Develop and maintain effective relationship with vendors/ suppliers
- Strategically reduce cost of supply and ensure maximum value for money
- Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
- Responsible for Supplier selection and contracting process (RFQ & RFP process in GEP)
- Primary point of contact in Australia

**Key Requirements**
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Engineering, or related field
- 5 years’ experience in a procurement role with 2-3 years in management or operations sourcing/supply chain
- Technically strong ideally from an Oil & Gas background
- Ability to lead, manage and deliver multiple concurrent projects
- Sound knowledge in shipping & logistics
- MRP/ERP experience ideal
