Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator

**The Opportunity**

Our Western Sydney Service Centre is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator, to join our team based in Erskine Park.

We are underway with a significant capital project (circa $415 million investment) to expand our operations to create additional metal coating capacity, to service our Sydney market and support the production of premium branded products, such as ZINCALUME® and TRUECORE®. We are constructing and installing a new metal coating line within our operations precinct located in Templar Road, Erskine Park (approximately 10 mins from Wallgrove Road/Eastern Creek M7 exit). This is a permanent full-time dayshift opportunity with BlueScope.

**What Will You Do?**

Joining a high energy team, who are enthused by and dedicated to the success of this project, you will:

- support the project by delivering maintenance plans and supervision for new and modified equipment
- undertake technical reviews of new equipment and provide feedback and recommendations
- provide high levels of maintenance expertise to the constructor and install teams
- develop and implement training packages
- coach, mentor and develop teams in maintenance principles and process

**More About You**

As an experienced maintenance coordinator, you’ll work effectively in cross-functional groups and thrive in a dynamic environment. You will also have:

- relevant trade qualifications ideally an Engineering Associate Diploma in Mechanical; or Electrical if your industry experience has developed a strong mechanical knowledge and skill base
- strong equipment and technical skills, including knowledge of equipment strategy and maintenance, gained through a trade or engineering background
- Experience in CMMS (1SAP preferred but not essential)
- an openness to discovery, able to recognise an opportunity and bring benefit to fruition
- actively seeks to share knowledge and expertise and network extensively
