I’m part of the engineering team and I’m responsible for providing standards and best practice processes to support them.

I provide technical direction working closely with the Principal Technologist, Architects and the technology team assigned within squads.

I work closely with the Value Stream leads to understand their supply and demand requirements to ensure we have the right.

I will:

- Guide and set standards and guardrails used by the software developers in squads and value streams
- Steer the direction of platform technology while interfacing with the Principal Technologist and squad

Each of the modules in the UI Library will have functional capabilities. When a module is built or changed -each of these will need to be defined or updated:
**Interactions**:define how the UI atom, component or template would behave when a user interacts with it on the digital channel. Example, what happens when you click on an icon or when you hover over it.

**Analytics**:defines tags, tracking and integration with digital analytics tools to track user behaviour and engagement within the digital channel to gain insights into how the app is being used and where improvements can be made to deliver a better customer experience

**Security**:defines security best practices and any guidelines on how to use the UI modules to protect QBE and users from security threats.

**Accessibility**: defines how the UI components are built and should be used to adhere to accessibility standards and should be used to adhere to accessibility standards and guidelines.

**Training materials**: User guides, tutorials, and other training materials that help developers and business users understand how to use the design system effectively.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
