Technology Lead – BI & Business Optimisation
The Technology Lead – BI & Business Optimisation plays a key role in shaping the future of business operations at Goodman Australia. This is not your typical operational role. You'll be at the intersection of technology, data, and business transformation, driving smart, scalable solutions that streamline processes, unlock insights, and elevate decision-making across the business.

This role will work closely with the business teams to identify inefficiencies, introduce automation, manage analytics tools, and lead the implementation of new technology initiatives. You will facilitate the clarification of complex data, delivering clear and actionable insights that drive informed decision-making. By leveraging advanced technology, you will address and resolve various business challenges, ensuring that processes are optimised and streamlined. The role will also concentrate on improving and enhancing business processes and team workflows, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment where technology is seamlessly integrated into daily operations.

*Day To Day:*

• Partner with the business to identify pain points and uncover opportunities for digital transformation.
• Maintain alignment with Group IT to ensure scalability, security, and cross-functional system integration.
• Lead the design, development, and management of Power BI dashboards and analytics, leveraging knowledge in analytics, visualisations and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external developers.
• Deliver automated reporting and forecasting tools using platforms like Power BI, Power Automate, and Yardi.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of business technology projects—from scoping and design through to implementation, transition guidance, business process update, and support.
• Support the adoption of business tools such as , Power Apps, Promapp, Procore, Yardi.
• Champion data accuracy, consistency, and governance across financial systems, including Yardi and other operational platforms.
• Lead, own, and champion excellence in business process
• Owns process mapping, governance, and ongoing process health.

*Requirements:*

• Strong background in Finance or Accounting, with the ability to translate financial requirements into technical solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, CBAP, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.
• Demonstrated success in improving business processes (including financial processes) and reporting through automation and system enhancements.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and managing relationships with vendors, consultants, and development partners.
• Familiarity with integrating finance and operational systems (e.g., Yardi, Procore, ) for improved reporting and process automation.
• Strong understanding of business intelligence, data analytics, and visualisation principles, with proven expertise in Power BI.
• Practical knowledge of workflow automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate) and experience integrating them with enterprise systems preferred.
• 3–5 years' experience in business process transformation, BI solution delivery, and enterprise technology implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of financial and operational property management systems, particularly Yardi, and their integration/relationship with other platforms.
• Experience leading end-to-end technology projects, from requirements gathering and design through to implementation, change management, and post-go-live support.
