Our Responsible Gambling and Payments Analyst is a dual-purpose role responsible for providing value-add insights, timely reporting, and operational BAU support across the RG and Payments Departments.

**With great progression, career development opportunities and the chance to work with the latest technology, a normal day in the role of the **Responsible Gambling and Payments Analyst** **includes**:

- Working closely with the Betfair Finsights department to understand Betfair’s datasets
- Developing and delivering reports to meet stakeholders needs
- Analysing information using statistical/data analysis techniques to provide key insights
- Conduct account level-RG risk assessments across a range of datasets (e.g - transactional, customer interactions etc)
- Investigating RG and Payments processes and data to identify and remediate issues; including collaborating across different departments and with external stakeholders (e.g - PaddyPower Betfair, payment gateway providers etc)
- Presenting analysis to leadership and operational teams
- Identifying and utilising external information that adds value to reports
- Identifying new strategic payments opportunities (e.g. - new payment technologies)
- Developing new analytical tools and methods to support business needs
- Supporting the completion of day-to-day BAU tasks across Payment and RG functions
- Supporting any BAU escalations by providing analysis/opinion as required

- Data analysis skills and knowledge of SQL programming
- Excellent consulting and internal customer service skills
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong personal drive
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including some weekends
- High level of numeracy
