**Job Overview**:
Quest Effect is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented **School Traffic and Safety Officer (Monday - Friday 2pm - 6pm, 20 hours a week)** to oversee the safety and efficiency of student drop-off and pick-up traffic flow. The officer will ensure that students, staff, and parents experience a smooth and safe process during peak times, while adhering to traffic regulations and maintaining clear communication with the school community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Direct and manage the flow of vehicles during school drop-off and pick-up times to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Oversee the safe entry and exit of students from vehicles, ensuring they are guided safely to and from the school premises.
- Monitor and enforce school traffic rules and regulations to prevent unsafe practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for traffic-related matters, liaising with parents, staff, and drivers to maintain a smooth flow.
- Quickly and effectively address any traffic issues, congestion, or safety concerns that arise.
- Direct vehicles and pedestrians to ensure proper spacing and adherence to school and local traffic guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in traffic management or safety enforcement (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay calm, patient, and efficient during busy times.
- Knowledge of traffic safety and basic traffic regulations.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and quick problem-solving skills.

**Working Conditions**:

- Outdoors for extended periods during school drop-off and pick-up times.
- Requires mobility and standing for prolonged periods.
- Will involve coordinating with both school staff, parents & security.
