**Roster: 1x Afternoon Shift (Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm)**

**1x Afternoon Shift (Monday to Friday 2pm -6pm)**

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our company as a Full
- Time/ Part-time Security Officer. As a vital member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, employees, visitors, parents and assets.

This role is based in a prestigious school environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure a safe environment all students, parents, onsite staff and visitors
- Assist the Security Supervisor with administration duties and maintenance inspections
- Assist with Event set-ups and classroom setups
- Assist with signage for events and reserved parking
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals are permitted entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious activity.
- Respond prompty to security incidents, emergencies or alarms following established protocols and procedures.
- Assisting staff with access issues.
- Traffic control for school pick ups and events
- Maintain accurate records of Activity logs, incidents and security-related activities.

**Requirements**:

- Must have Security Licence.
- Have a can do attitude
- Proven experience in security or customer service role..
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills
- Must have Working with Children Clearance or able to obtain before start of employement.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Working with Children Check? (preferred)
- 1AC Security licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
