NOW HIRING | This Australian luxury brand requires no introduction - renowned for original prints, femininity and innovative designs - they have continued with their global expansion of retail locations and most recently have expanded into some of the most desirable retail locations in Europe and the US. We are searching for a talented and passionate professional who has a strong sourcing and development background to join the team as a Design Room Coordinator.

In this role, you will maintain up to date technological developments as they emerge, in fabrics and trims across a global supply base. You will contribute to seasonal meetings and manage the ordering and tracking of all raw materials, working closely alongside production to ensure efficiency and productivity and meet all critical path key dates.

Day to day will see you |
- Sourcing - You will be responsible for attending sourcing appointments, identifying appropriate suppliers, maintaining fabric and trim trackers and having an in-depth awareness of pricing reasonability across all raw materials.
- Development - co-ordinate the sending of artworks, manage the set-up of approved fabrics, set up intellectual property agreements, ensure cut sheets are swatched with correct fabrics and trims, assist with in house sample room workflow and be proactive in chasing up and filing all testing reports.
- Fabric & trim Library - Create and manage a system for storing sourced materials, Upkeep of all fabrics and set up of seasonal fabric headers and the trim & fabric folder to hand over to production.

To set you up for success we are looking for |
- 3-5 years experience in a design room/product development/design role
- You will have completed a tertiary qualification course in fashion and/or têxtiles.
- Have a good knowledge of fabrics and trims
- You are able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and consider yourself to be highly organized and methodical.
- Have experience in photoshop, illustrator, Microsoft and AP21 or similar programs.
